No One Knows about Persian Cats has won a number of international prizes including the Special Jury Prize in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival. The film was screened at the 2010 Human Rights Watch London Film Festival.
This film is presented in partnership with Human Rights Watch - beirut@hrw.org.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion on the role of art in challenging government repression.
